Limited Manufacturer Warranty

ILA SODHANI, LLC stands behind our products and will repair at no charge any breakage caused by manufacturer defect within 90 days of receipt of purchase. Repairs needed after 90 days, or deemed to be caused by misuse or neglect, will incur a repair charge at the customer’s expense. Repairs will be assessed on an individual basis and communicated prior to the repair process beginning. If it is determined that the damage or issue is not caused by manufacturing defect, we will notify you of any repair costs or any other pertinent information before proceeding. Customers are responsible for shipping to our Houston showroom; packages must be insured and require a signature. WE RECOMMEND INSURING ALL OF YOUR JEWELRY PURCHASES THROUGH A LICENSED INSURER. 

Please note that slight irregularities and variations in craftsmanship or natural characteristics, or internal inclusions, visible or otherwise, in colored gemstones are unique and individual to each item. These characteristics are considered as part of the character of the item, and should not be considered a defect. Measurements and/or dimensions are collected to the best of our ability, but exist within a tolerance margin; therefore, slight variations in measurements and/or dimensions do not trigger the warranty.

Any issues that arise within the warranty period must be addressed quickly, please discontinue wear of the jewelry and contact us to create a Warranty Claim and receive a Return Authorization Number; the piece must be postmarked within seven (7) days of receiving Return Authorization Number. This number must be within the packaging and on the label of the package.

Conditions And Exclusions

The foregoing Manufacturer Warranty is available only to the person who purchased the covered product from ILA SODHANI, LLC.

We strongly recommend you refer to our ”‘How to Love” section on each product, and send your piece once a year, or after trauma/casualty to the jewelry, for maintenance and cleaning. Customers are responsible for shipping to our Houston studio; packages must be insured and require a signature. Maintenance, repair, sizing or other service performed by someone other than ILA SODHANI, LLC will void your Manufacturer Warranty.

We do not count damage due to normal wear, product loss, loss of stones or theft within the Warranty. Damage or loss that results from failure to obtain repairs necessary to maintain the integrity of the product are also not covered.

Some examples of common jewelry issues that would not be considered manufacturing defects include:

  1. Discoloration due to exposure to chemicals, make-up, swimming pools, hot tubs or bathing.
  2. Prongs and precious metals, in general, wear over time and may require “building up” or restoration work as normal wear.
  3. Bent, caught or worn out prongs(s) allowing a stone to fall out or be lost due to normal wear or other damage.
  4. Incorrect cleaning methods or chemicals, or over exposure to a hot supersonic jewelry cleaner.
  5. Lost stone or a stone has fallen out due to chipping or breaking caused by normal wear or other damage.
